Inca Trail 4 days and 3 Nights description

Itinerary Inca Trail 4 days

Day 1: Cusco - Km 82 - Wayllabamba (about 5 hr. trekking) (L) (D)

Fist day inca trail

Between 7:00 - 8:00 am we pick you up at your hotel and we go to km 82 by bus. From here on it will take us about 7 hours of hiking (13 km) to reach the first campsite in Huayllabamba.




Day 2: Wayllabamba - Pacaymayo (about 6 - 7 hr. trekking) (B)(L)(D)
Second DayPhysically a tough day: 16 km and climbing 2 high passes. Warmi Wanusca, with its 4200 mts, is the hightest point of the trek. Breathtaking and stunning! Included is a visit to the ruins of Runkurakay and Sayacmarca. We will be camping in Pacaymayu.

 

Day 3: Pacaymayo - Phuyupatamarka - Wiñaywayna (about 7 hr. trekking) (B)(L)(D)
3 diaToday is a relatively easy one: we walk only 11 km and most of the route is flat and descending, meanwhile visiting the archaeological sites of Phuyupatamarca, Intipata and Wiñaywayna, the latter being our last campsite of the trek.




Day 4: Wiñay Huayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco (B)
MachupicchuAfter breakfast, we depart to Inti Punku, the entrance of the old Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. This will take us about an hour and a half and it is an unforgettable experience observing the ruins from that point. In Machu Picchu we have a guided tour of approx. 2 hours and in the afternoon we travel back to Cusco by train. Arrival time in Cusco is estimated around 9.00pm.

a, Send us the following information:
- Full name
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Passport number (it is extremely important that we receive your correct passport number as the Inca Trail authorities are very strict on allowing
you to enter the Inca Trail – if your passport number is incorrect, you could have problems at the start of the trek. It is also necessary that we receive the passport number that you will use whilst on the trek; please advise if you think you will
change your passport before you do the Inca trail.)
- Nationality

b, Confirm whether you are a student (it is necessary to have a valid ISIC card to qualify as a student) and if so scan and email it (JPEG format).
(We need to present a copy of your card now and you will also need to take the original on the Inca Trail. If for any reason, you will not have your original card when you are going to enter the Inca Trail, please advise us as soon as you know this - the Inca Trail authorities are extremely strict and will not allow you to enter the Inca Trail if you have booked as a student but do not have your original card at the time of entering).

c, Decide whether or not you want an extra porter who would carry your personal belongings (the price of this service is $100.00).  By hiring a
porter you will only need to carry a very small day pack. (Please note, you can also share one porter between two people - up to 7 kilos each – costing $50 each.) We provide you with a duffle bag in which to put your belongings that your extra porter will carry. If you do not hire a porter, you will carry your personal belongings including sleeping bag and sleeping mattress.

d, Pay a deposit of 50% of total payment.
